GN33

Simrad GN33 receiver technology and built in differential receiver ensure optimum accuracy at all times. Two units can be connect as planning station and navigation station via a high speed data link

Features:

DGPS Accuracy

Built in two channel differential receiver and high performance GPS technology and parallel receiver with Kalman filtering ensures optimum position accuracy as well as stable speed and course data. The GN33 is also available without differential receiver, ready to be interfaced to an external receiver.

Waypoints and routes

Up to 35,000 waypoints can be stored in the memory. Reversible routes for complex navigational requirements with a mix of great circle and rhumbline. Easy calculation of distances in a route as well as estimated time of arrival(ETA) and required speed to make a given ETA.

Twin stations

With two GN33 onboard redundancy, one is used at the chart table for planning and the other at the helm for navigation Waypoints and routes are transferred from planning to helm via high speed datalink

Installation

GN33 is splash proof (USC 46 CFR and IP55) and designed to be situated in the most adverse conditions. The electronics are protected in a rugged die cast aluminum cabinet with an impact resistant polycarbonate front. Accessories for flush or bracket mount are included as well as antenna, watertight plugs and cables. Built in relays for general alarms and missing position updates ensures easy and time saving connection to external alarms.
